Acer launches the thinnest laptop with detachable screen!

Acer expands its portfolio with harsh convertible notebook R11, which is remarkable because of the autonomy of up to eight hours. With a screen diagonal of 11.6 inches, the smallest model of the series Aspire R, is addressed especially to those who want a device dimensions and low weight. Besides a unique design that allows rotating the display 360 degrees, the new R11 is distinguished primarily by housing reminiscent of textiles. Designed with the latest technology of laser engraving, detail gives this notebook a touch of elegance. On the specifications, R11 Aspire models are based on Intel Pentium processors with Intel HD integrated graphics processor, together with up to 8GB DDR3 memory and storage capacity of up to 1TB. Besides Acer Crystal Eye HD webcam, SD ™ card reader, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, HDMI and VGA ports respectively, the device includes audio technology developed by Acer, TrueHarmony.


This innovative solution greatly improves the acoustic experience, rendering a wide range of speakers bass without distortion. Thus, in any of the four driving modes, Aspire R11 offers the best experience: in "notebook" for office applications, in "pad" ideal for sharing information or for games in "display" designed to watching video content or in "tent" that facilitates use in tight spaces.

Switch 10 and 10E Series

The range of devices 2-in-1 removable screen expands with two new models based on Intel Atom processors with four cores. Flexible design makes these devices ideal choice for those looking for a tablet but do not want to give up the comfort of your keyboard.

Switch 10 E (SW3-013) has a 30Wh battery which gives a period of autonomy up to 12 hours (1), enough for a day's work or study. Due to improved design, Acer Snap Hinge 2 switching between modes of operation is extremely easy. in tablet mode, Switch 10E weighs only 630 grams, while the notebook weight is only 1.28 kg.
Available in six color versions, the new 2-in-1 notebook has a surface that protects it against scratches. Screen with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels HD provide advanced touch control and vivid colors. Acer VisionCare application suite has been designed to protect the eyes during prolonged usage sessions. This package includes Acer BlueLightShield ™, which reduces eyestrain, intelligently filtering blue light emitted by the screen and Acer LumiFlex that improves screen visibility in direct light conditions.

The new Acer Switch 10 is a 2-in-1 device, consisting of a tablet design inspired by notebook Aspire S7, with case made of scratch-resistant glass (Gorilla Glass 3) and a removable keyboard. The Full HD screen with 1920x1200 pixels resolution is manufactured using Zero Air Gap technology, which improves image quality whether it's playing pictures, running games or watching movies. Like 10E, and Switch 10 is equipped with two rooms of 2 MP. 22Wh battery ensure continuous video playback up to seven hours (1). With a thickness of only 8.9 mm and 23.8 mm tablet mode in notebook mode, Switch 10 is the thinnest notebook on the market detachable.

Technical specifications of both models include, besides Quad-Core processor and 2 GB of DDR3 memory.
